7. Ben in Olympic National Park, 1992

Ben and I went on our first and only camping trip together to the Hoh Rainforest in Washington. I forgot the coats; he forgot the lantern.

6. Lauro in Capri, 1988

I was told by Lauro that the spot we were sunbathing was used by the priests on the island in the 17th century.
But Lauro didn’t speak any English and I spoke no Italian, so I may have misunderstood.

5. Jason @ the Brighton Beach boardwalk, England

I met Jason while I was living in London. He was Canadian.
On our trip to Brighton, he told me all about Quadrophenia and the mods and rockers.

2. Jason at Arlington National Cemetery, Spring Break 1992

Jason and I signed up for this educational DC trip when we were still together. But by Spring Break ’92 we were broken up.

1. Mark at Stonehenge, June 1992

Mark went to England on a group trip in 1992, right after his high school graduation. He was a year older than me and I couldn’t go.
He brought me back a ceramic miniature Stonehenge and this photo.
