Mrs. Davis (Tim&#8217;s mother), artist and co-owner of the gallery, was having a celebration to show off the artists&#8217; work.  Or Georgetown was having a weekend celebration.  I don&#8217;t remember.  Tim provided the entertainment for that Saturday, singing folk songs and playing his guitar.

<p>One could wonder how a hill in Joshua Tree could be considered a monument&#8211;but some people find monuments in structures, and some people find monuments in nature.  And it&#8217;s cool.</p>

We had taken a field trip with the four girls to see the sights and the child wrangler took us all to this park, which was one of her favorites when she lived there.<br />
